Several Modacc partners, sustainability leaders and operations of fashion companies such as Magán Barcelona, Boboli, Cotextmo - Comercial Textil Moreno, Original Buff, Munich, along with representatives from the Generalitat de Catalunya, Barcelona City Council and technology centers such as Eurecat and Fitex, made a trip to Berlin, coinciding with the Neonyt fair. The main objectives of the trip were to discover the green green ecosystem of the city, visit the Neonyt fair, meet the most representative players in the sustainable fashion industry in Germany and share experiences with other brands that have the same concerns.+ INFO

The professional showroom that coordinates Modacc in collaboration with the 080 Barcelona Fashion, is just over. During this latest edition, 19 fashion brands have exhibited their collections and 28 international buyers have visited the showroom with a scheduled schedule of visits. Modacc, Fashion Catalan Cluster, held a workshop on environmental challenges in the textile industry, in collaboration with AQM, Modacc partner in quality control and RSC. At the conference, which was attended by production managers, purchasing departments and corporate responsibility of the leading companies in the textile and fashion sector, some of the main environmental challenges in particular 3 (management of chemical products; waste and hazardous waste), its risks and its solutions to guide suppliers on the right path towards sustainability.
